The 1-vial composition is ideally suited for easy reaction assembly, requiring only the addition of primers, probe and target RNA. The proprietary reaction buffer allows a convenient hot start RT-qPCR.

The master mix is optimized for hydrolysis probes, including Universal ProbeLibrary (UPL) probes and does not require optimization with Mg(OAc)2.

There are protocols for both the LightCycler® 480 instrument and the LightCycler® 96 instrument.

1) The reverse transcription activity will be suppressed at temperatures significantly below 60°C.
